Delivery Manager
Delivery Manager is a key role in our organization. The main responsibility is the day-to-day management of projects for one or more Levi9 customers.
THE ROLE INVOLVES:
- Provide transparency on planning, organizing, leading, and motivating teams to achieve objectives and safeguard effective service delivery
- Manage issues and risks
- Take an active part in pre-sales and support development of new proposals and opportunities
- Overcome communication gaps between business requirements and technical specification
- Report on key project metrics to stakeholders
- Manage operational/administrative tasks
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Ensure the required quality of service regarding the agreed contracts
- Manage different project types (time and material, fixed price) and setups (team as a service, distributed teams) in an Agile environment
- Act as a Scrum Master
- Create and execute project plans, monitoring project progress and taking proactive and corrective measures
- Collaborate with department managers for project staffing
- Proactively communicate internally and externally to inform key business users and management of activities that have implications on the effectiveness of running the business
TECHNICAL PLAYGROUND:
- 3 to 5 years IT project management or IT related experience (software development projects)
- Knowledge and experience with Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Understanding of software development life cycle and standard processes
- Well-developed ability to understand customer requirements and needs
- Able to build and develop healthy relationships with customers
- Ability to understand the business value of service requests and prioritize them accordingly
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams within a formalized methodology or framework
- MS Office package proficiency
NICE TO HAVE:
- Knowledge of Prince 2/ ITIL/ ASL
- University degree in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent technology degree
