PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Our customer is a world-leading provider of transport solutions, driving the shift towards a sustainable transport system and creating a world of mobility that is better for business, society, and the environment.

The Trailer & Asset Control team maintains and improves services that enable fleet owners to manage and visualize telematics data regarding their trailers and other connected equipment in real time. The team's purpose is to make it easy for new customers to join the platform by integrating new telematics providers as well as improving data availability of existing customers.

We are a team of engineers that do not shy away from working with a diverse stack that starts from writing and maintaining our AWS architecture through Infrastructure-as-Code, writing code in both NodeJS with Typescript and .NET 6 with some Angular sprinkled here and there.

THE ROLE INVOLVES:

• Designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable code for both NodeJS with Typescript and .NET 6 serverless functions in an AWS environment
• Helping maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Analyzing and translating requirements into tasks
• Providing feedback to the customer and the team
• Identifying and investigating issues described by the customer
• Creating estimates, assumptions, identifying development risks, proposing solutions
• Participating in creating/updating/reviewing technical documentation

TECHNICAL PLAYGROUND:

• 5+ years of software development experience in a NodeJS & .NET ecosystem
• Good knowledge of C#/ NodeJS
• Willingness to learn and work on both NodeJS with Typescript and .NET 6
• Good knowledge of Unit & Integration Testing
• Knowledge & experience working with AWS services

NICE TO HAVE: 

• Knowledge or willingness to learn and work on Angular
• Ability to quickly ramp up on multiple technology areas
• Experience with Agile methodology
• Knowledge of CI/CD Tools
• University degree in Computer Science/Engineering
• Knowledge of Cloud development

SOFT SKILLS:

• Fluent English, with good written and verbal communication skills
• Engineer mentality, looking to solve problems and willing to learn modern technologies
• Open to give and receive feedback
