JOIN OUR PARTNER’S GRADUATES PROGRAMME
At Levi Nine we are passionate about what we do. We love our work and together in a team we are smarter and stronger. We work in a dynamic and challenging environment with talented and forward-thinking people who are part of creative and innovative teams.
We are looking for skilled team players who drive change both within our teams and our partners' teams. Are you one of these players?
OUR PARTNER:
Our partner, ABN AMRO Clearing, is a global leader in the domain of clearing, offering access to a wide range of listed instruments on markets across the globe.
IT is at the heart of their organisation with more than 30 different product teams and 10 different platform teams that are trying to build the best products & services for their customers.
Their presence in important financial centres like Amsterdam, Chicago, Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo Hong Kong, London, Sao Paulo, Frankfurt and Iasi, allows them to effectively serve clients worldwide and maintain close proximity to their diverse customer base.
In banking, Clearing denotes all activities from the time a financial instrument is bought or sold on an exchange until it is settled.
Our partner acts as an intermediary between clients and the exchanges these clients trade on. They become the buyer to the seller and the seller to the buyer taking over the risk to reconcile orders between the parties in the transaction. Processing around 20 million transactions a day, they do so for professional traders, investment managers and large corporates.
As clients are highly demanding and the market environment fluctuates, every new joiner is guaranteed to learn a lot in a short space of time.
Also, working for our partner means thriving in an international, professional yet informal, fast-paced, IT-driven environment.
THE ROLE INVOLVES:
Within our partner’s Graduates Traineeship, you will start as a trainee on the IT track.
As an IT Trainee, you will be working in the grids of Clearing transforming client needs into brilliant code and IT software designs. You may be working on their client portal, supporting the development of their fractional trading engine or even increase the efficiency of their IT Risk models.
Together with the other trainees you’ll start your journey at the beginning of September with an onsite induction training in Amsterdam. During these training weeks, you will get to know the INs and OUTs of the financial markets and the Clearing business.
Besides this, working on your personal development is a key component of the programme. Industry experts, professional trainers and ABN AMRO Clearing managers facilitate the different sessions. Together they will give you a solid basis for your future role within the organization.
You will be part of an international group of trainees allowing you to build a global network, so you can see it as a great start to your ABN AMRO Clearing career!
Also, in the 12-month programme you’ll be offered three rotations to different departments from the organization. In one of these rotations, you’ll have the opportunity to work in one of our partner’s global offices for 3 months.
You take full responsibility for your own assignments but will be guided in your journey by a mentor, hiring manager and assignment managers.
